From Virality to Chart-Topping Hits: The Evolution of Influencer Impact

Instagram’s launch in 2010 birthed the “influencers”—content creators who have the power to affect the purchasing decisions of others because of their authority, knowledge, position or relationship with their audience (and generate significant personal income). They drive conversations, incite points of view and give consumers a reason to buy the trendiest product of the day or consider evaluating their finances, diet, fitness, corporate jobs and any other part of their day-to-day lives.

Here we highlight some influencers who are currently making an impact in their respective industries.
