As president of media sales at BET for more than 20 years, Louis Carr has spearheaded the network’s growth as a key multicultural space for some of the world’s leading brands.
Under his leadership, strategic partnerships with businesses including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, McDonald’s, General Motors, Facebook and Apple have helped generate more than $10 billion in advertising revenue.
Carr’s accomplishments were recognized in November 2023 with the presentation of the Chicago Advertising Federation’s annual Silver Medal Award, honoring accomplishments and leadership in the industry.
Earlier in the year, he was one of seven advertising executives nationwide named to the American Advertising Federation’s 2023 Hall of Fame.
